After the first day of disassembly, there wasn't a lot left. The passenger side doors came off easily, but the screws in the hinges on the driver's side are locked up. |

The rear of the car needs the most body work. |

The canvas top was brand new when the car was parked in the barn 25 years ago, but it's pretty nasty now. The wood and the padding inside are rotted. |

The drip rails on both sides are in excellent condition. I haven't yet decided if I want to keep them or shave them off. I'll have to think on it a while. |

Here's the front bumper mounting hole. The frame is sticking through the front fender. I probably won't have any bumpers, especially not the stock ones, so this spot will need some work to get it smooth. |

The gas tank cover on the back is the worst piece on the car. It's dented and wavy, full of holes, very rusty, and quite pitiful looking. I'm glad the rest of the car is in better shape. |

The spare tire carrier mounted to the frame through this tail pan. The gas tank filler is also poking through on the left. It's probably hard to tell, but this piece is pretty messed up. I think it will be much easier to buy a new piece. I have enough body work to keep me busy, so I don't want to worry about this. |

The spare tire from a 99 Cutlass has the same bolt pattern they used 70 years ago! The front fenders have pulled away from the running boards. I'll need to do some repairs on the fender mounting brackets to hold it in place. The fenders also have a couple patches of bondo that needs to be reworked. I'm still debating about smoothing out the hood, or keeping the original louvers. |

Here's a dark picture through the rear glass. Overall the floors are in really good shape, not a lot of work to do there. I've seen much worse. |
