Now that I know I will have to cut the front half of the top off, it's time to get the back half lined up. This shot shows that the B and C pillar line up perfectly, but the rear corner is still off my just a little. |

The B pillar came straight down and lines up great. |

Same thing with the C pillar. I'll tack weld it once all 4 are clamped in position. |

The back side of the car leans toward the front just a tiny bit. Taking 2" out, and aligning at the door posts leaves a small gap around back. I tried pushing on the rear corners with my hand through the back window, but it needs to move a little too much to force it. |

I made a relief cut in the corner. That allows the area to stretch into shape much easier. It will take some time to hammer and dolly the curve smooth again, but that's better than forcing and warping the metal into place. |

Now that it's clamped in place, the relief cut opens up to a wedge shape. It's about 3 times the width of the saw blade. I'll have to make a filler strip to go in the hole later. |
