This was my first time at the Delta Street Rods show at Sardis Lake. What a great place for a car show! It's definitely worth the drive. It was a beautiful location, right on the bank of Sardis Lake, which is much larger than it looks. The lake is about 20 miles long! There were probably around 300 or so cars there, and they were much higher quality than I had expected. Right on par with the larger show 2 weeks earlier in Tunica. George Poteet's "old" shop truck was here too. It looks old and weathered, but it's straight as an arrow.

This show is great for the kids and the wife, too, because it's very shady and cool under all those trees. My wife got overheated in the casino parking lot, so this will be her main show next year.
