This year's Super Chevy Show at the Memphis Motorsports Park was bigger than I expected. Tickets were $18 each with a $3 discount from Autozone. That was the best $36 I've spent in a long time, because I was finally able to get my wife to a car show, and she had fun too. We have talked about cars more since that show than we have in the 4 years we've been together! She has been much more interested in what I'm doing in the shop too, which is great. Working on a street rod is tough, but it's even harder if you don't have support from your wife!

 We met a nice guy with a '34 Plymouth 2 door, and talked to him for quite a while. He let us sit inside to check the headroom after his 3 inch chop. It was surprisingly roomy. He had a long list of body mods, including a Fat Man front crossmember, and had lots of good things to say about it. That's good to hear, because I'm thinking about getting a front suspension system from Fat Man too. I learned a lot, got some good ideas, and saw a few bad ideas, too. It really gets you motivated when you see a car just like yours!
